Mary C. Fiumara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 34 years clinical experience. She earned her BSW and a Certificate in Women's Studies from Rutgers University in New Jersey, and her MSS from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She is licensed in both Pennsylvania and California.
Mary has been working with eating disorder clients and their families since 1985 when she was part of the original staff of the Renfrew Center in Philadelphia, PA. She developed and implemented an eating disorders track at KidsPeace Acute Care Hospital where she supervised a treatment team on an adolescent psychiatric unit. She developed and managed an intensive outpatient program in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania for children age 6-19. She has facilitated workshops on eating disorder awareness and prevention at organizations, universities and businesses.
Currently, Mary is a manager at a residential special treatment program that treats people with serious and chronic mental illness. She is a Board Member of EDRS (Eating Disorders Recovery Services).
Mary also has her own private practice in Santa Rosa where she specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and women's issues.
